Meet Jason D. West, DDS, MS

Dr. Jason D. West is a board-certified periodontist in The Woodlands, Texas, serving patients throughout Montgomery County and the Greater Houston area. He provides specialized care for gum disease, missing teeth, gum recession, and bone loss, with advanced training in periodontics, dental implantology, and soft-tissue grafting.

Education and Periodontal Training

Born and raised in Montgomery County, Dr. West earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He then completed his dental education at the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.

After dental school, Dr. West completed the institution’s rigorous three-year postdoctoral periodontics program. His specialty training focused on the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease, dental implant therapy, regenerative procedures, and soft-tissue grafting.

Upon completing the program, Dr. West earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Certificate in Periodontics.

Board Certification

Dr. West is board-certified in periodontology after completing a comprehensive peer-review and examination process. Board certification through the American Board of Periodontology reflects advanced knowledge and clinical proficiency in periodontics and dental implant therapy.
